I ve always thought that its more fun to play ice hockey than watch it. The action is too damn crowded and it difficult to see much of the putty. Except for the pushing around and fighting part most of it is boring. If you havent played it yet you must give it a try its a riot. I feel over the moon whenever I play ice hockey even if I am playing alone. The way the hockey sticks glide across the turf to the way you control your speed just enough to focus on where you are want to place the putty, its total fun.

Taken from a NYT article on Freeman Dyson. What's the smallest integer where, if you take its last digit and move it to the front, turning say 112 to 211, it's possible to exactly double its value? The answer is 105263157894736842 and has 18 digits. Now, what is the smallest integer where you can move the first (most significant) digit to the right, and the result will be exactly half the original number? :) (read more)

Do you think we can fight video games addiction by making annoyingly monotonous versions of a video game, then have the game switch from the regular version to the monotonous one when a close friend, girlfriend, boyfriend or family member thinks we're getting too addicted to it? The benefit with extreme, annoying monotony is that the addict gets upset with the game and not with the people around him telling him he's addicted. He loses interest in the game 'naturally'. Any other ideas out there?

I have in mind computer games made for terrorists and given to them for FREE! They will be games of destruction where the terrorists get to blow up anything they want and...here's the catch, they will always succeed. We wouldn't want to challenge a terrorist to blow things up for real out of game failure, would we?

It's the neighbors having sex sweetie, but I can't tell that to my 5-year-old, can I?
It's the neighbors playing Wii Fit and by the sound of it seems they're exercising pretty hard at it. They're so loud, aren't they?
Yes mummy, they're so loud... (phew!) (read more)

Think you've got what it takes to build a better Ponzi scheme than Bernie? Always wanted to rob, cheat, and steal from innocent investors? Well now's your chance! In Made Off, you utilize your Cellupoints rather than real money. Play as a slimy Fund Manager, a savvy Investor, or both. The game will end without warning when the Feds finally crack down on the Cellufun community, and people managing Funds will get to keep all the Cellupoints invested in them. Investors will keep all the Cellupoints they've acquired through interest payments as well. And we'll give trophies to those who have "made off" with the most profits. Happy scheming (read more)
